Jesus Lives!

This is the Good News lived out each and every day in our homes, in our community, and as we gather for worship, service, and to celebrate the sheer joy of being together and being loved by God.

The Good News of Jesus’ life lived for us and given up for us finds its voice most powerfully present among us in the Easter shout of joy and victory … “Jesus is risen! He is risen indeed!”

In contemporary and traditional worship, with music supported by a massive pipe organ, handbells, brass, and by electronic keyboards, guitars, and drums, we join our voices in songs responding to and proclaiming the power and joy of life in Jesus Christ.

We experience this Good News and our faith is deepened as we open the Bible and see ourselves in its pages which come alive for us in a wide variety of settings available for study and discussion.

Our worship, study, and sharing our lives in fellowship takes place within the larger community where we serve as God’s living voice and helping hand. We actively live God’s story forgiven and set free for our neighbor and for those in need of a neighbor.

As members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the Good News we live in our community reaches out and embraces God’s children everywhere.

I hope to see you soon! I would like you to experience the great joy and love I have come to know as a child of God here at First Lutheran Church!
